This privacy policy describes how Unit Converter by Waikuu, published by Waikuu, handles your information. The app is a simple unit converter that runs on your device.

1. Data processed on your device

Your conversions and preferences (favorite units, selected category, language and appearance settings) are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us. The app does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, or precise location.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the app is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process technical data such as your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, coarse location derived from it, and app-usage signals.

• Personalized vs. non-personalized ads: on iOS, personalized ads that rely on the advertising identifier (IDFA) are shown only if you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, you receive non-personalized ads.
• Consent in Europe: for users in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we present a Google-certified consent form (Google UMP) at first launch so you can accept or refuse this data processing.
• Removing ads: you can remove advertising permanently with the one-time "Remove Ads" in-app purchase.

3. Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly measurement provided by Apple (e.g. Apple App Analytics) and crash reporting to understand stability and performance. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. These tools follow their own privacy policies.

4. In-app purchases

The "Remove Ads" purchase is processed by Apple through your App Store account. We never receive or store your payment card details.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw your advertising consent at any time. 6. Children

Unit Converter by Waikuu is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
